Many of us access Donne's sermons more easily (if less pleasurably) through the new BYU online edition than through Potter & Simpson's standard print edition. The BYU site identifies individual sermons by their P & S volume and number. But since each sermon on the BYU site is individual paginated, it is not, so far as I can tell, possible to correlate online and print page numbers—though the latter are of course standard in scholarly references (at least for now).
So I jotted down key information (sermon number / scriptural text / starting page) from the tables of content (tables of contents?) of the 10 P & S volumes. Using higher math, it should be possible to figure out the P & S page number using the page numbers provided on the BYU site. Sorry the formatting doesn't look so hot here.

RE: potter & simpson / byu page numbers
Thank you so much for your work. I do appreciate it. I am wondering why we don't try to have the press to reprint the Sermons----we have been in very bad need of them!
Anyway,I am looking forward to the Ten Volume Sermons reprint or their availability.
I'd also like to say thanks to you for sharing your work, which has been very useful!
Although it is at an early stage, a project to produce a new edition of Donne's Sermons, led by Peter McCullough, has been approved by Oxford University Press--something we can look forward to!
Thank you so much for doing this! I am a graduate student in Korea trying to finish my dissertation on Donne's Sermons and Calvinism. To the best of my knowledge, there are NO copies of the Potter and Simpson edition of the Sermons anywhere to be found in Korea. Without BYU's electronic access and your notes, I could not continue with my research. And for this I am extremely grateful.
Also, do you know if there is anyway to access the Introduction to the P & S Sermons? I would appreciate any assitance or advice from you or anyone else reading this.
I was just alerted to your good work here, for which I am very grateful. I recognize the frustration many must feel at the absence of the marginal notes from BYU's sermons site. It was, at end, a legal issue: some of the marginal notes in the Potter and Simpson volumes are public domain, and some of them are Potter and Simpson's, and while we were given permission to digitize the TEXT of the volumes as edited by P&S, the publisher stuck on the proprietary material interpolated into the margins by the editors. Perhaps I'll put a note on the Sermons site directing people to Greg's notations, or figure out some way to incorporate this information elsewhere on the site.
