Please excuse me.  I am not a member of the Society.  I am interested in the "No man is an island" excerpt from a Christian point of view.  Specifically, I am searching for the potential implications of the excerpt on Chrsitian attitudes to humanity.  Has anyone written on how this excerpt might have bearing on our attitudes to others and spirituality in general?  Donne seems (at least from my point of view) to be embracing a very broad conception of how we might view other people, far and wide.  I would be interested in how others have viewed the ramifications of this famous quote.
