Dear Colleagues,
Although we will add a couple more features over the next week or so, the new website (DigitalDonne: the Online Variorum) is now up and available for use.   We're calling Feb. 1, 2011, the official launch date.    I encourage you to log on and browse around to get a sense of what is there.   For now, you can access the site through either of the URL's we have been using: http://DonneVariorum.tamu.edu OR http://DigitalDonne.tamu.edu The first address takes you to the home page; the second takes you to the section of the site containing the digital facsimile editions, from which you can navigate to "Home" with a single additional click.   Navigation between the two sites is otherwise thoroughly integrated, and when the site moves to ECU in the summer, they will be subsumed under a single URL.
Over the past several months we've worked very hard in the preparation of these materials, and this version represents an enormous expansion of what we have formerly offered, including the front matter of the DV series; several new bibliographical aids (Jack Roberts's 4th annotated bibliography being one); a complete concordance to Donne's poetry; a sortable  Master List of Poems in 17th-C sources that integrates info on the poems from Beal, Keynes, and Sullivan; and additions to the collection of Digital Facsimiles (with DT1 and WN1 still to come later this spring).
I especially wish to thank Mary Farrington and the student assistants who have worked so hard to actualize these materials on the web.   You'll see their names scattered about in various places.
As usual, we would be pleased to be informed of any bugs or errors you find (there are bound to be some), and we'll try to repair them as quickly as we can.
For those who have used the site before, remember to refresh you browser window when you first log on and from time to time, since the old pages are likely to be stored in your computer's memory.

Enjoy,
GAS
